Your Dog Feature

Andrea McHugh, a freelance journalist with an interest in everything dog friendly, spotted us on a Facebook dog friendly group and contacted us to be featured in an article for 'Your Dog' magazine.

She gave me a call and I told her all about Seabreeze Cottage, how dog friendly the cottage is and how it came into being.  I told her our story - how we struggled to find anywhere dog friendly to holiday with our Maisie.  About the frustration of the rules in place, restrictions on the furry ones and the impact this can have on a holiday for all the family.

I answered all her questions and sent over lots of photos for her to choose from for the article, not knowing in which direction she would take when putting it all together.  Finally, a month later, the magazine arrived and it was a nervous moment taking a look.

Andrea had done an amazing job with the article.  She focused on Maisie and her story, which is perfect.  Anyone can have comfy beds, good views, and a well stocked kitchen, but being totally dog friendly, knowing what's really needed for a great holiday with the furry ones, is where the magic lies.

Maisie featured in the photos of course, showing that we practice what we preach, we ourselves are dog friendly and we've just created a holiday home that furry ones love because we need that for our Maisie.
