A Night at Seabreeze

We were lucky to spend a night at Seabreeze last month, just me, Gary and Maisie. After our week's stay at Seagreen, Seabreeze was empty and we didn't need to go home, so we treated ourselves to a stay at the seaside cottage.

We arrived early morning, unpacked and settled in before heading out for breakfast.  Fairydust is always our number one choice as not only is the food amazing, but furry Maisie is welcomed with open arms and lots of cuddles, plus a Puppachino and sausage.  Gary had his full English as always, and my usual is a waffle with maple syrup, accompanied by a raspberry milkshake.

A beach walk was then needed as we headed off to the dog friendly beach, hidden behind the golf course. This beach goes on for miles and is quiet even in summer.  There's no dog restrictions, so the furry ones can run and explore.  Maisie played chase and even went for a paddle before heading back to the cottage for a snooze.

When it comes to afternoon snoozes at the cottage you won't be disappointed.  If the weather is warm, then head to the sun loungers in the back garden, or like us, you can catch 40 winks on the sofa with the furry one at your side.

It was soon time to get ready for a special evening out at the Bank Tapas Restaurant in town.  As always, their talented chef, Lucy, created the most amazing dishes for us to try and she even popped out of the kitchen for a chat (see photo).

Then it was back to the cottage to relax with a cuppa, wrapped in a blanket on the sofa, with the fire keeping us cosy and Maisie snoring at our side.  We had a blissful night's sleep in the super-king bed before it was sadly time for home.

Overall, the cottage is perfect, from the sunset views from the window over the seafront, to the relaxing rainfall shower.  We are looking forward to our next stay in May, when hopefully the weather will be warmer and we can spend time in the garden.

So if you are ever wondering,'would we stay at Seabreeze ourselves?', the answer is 'yes we do, and we love it'.
